How do you watch?
Every qualifying and practice race of Repco Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 will be broadcast live without ad breaks on Fox Sports 506. Ten will air live coverage on the weekend and broadcast it from 12:00 pm Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, you can catch the transmission at 11:30 am and 7:30 am.

Sporting Regulation for Practice and Qualifying
At each Repco Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 session, race drivers can practice in a practice session of 20 minutes. Individual practice sessions are not necessary, but each driver should become a part of almost one practice session. It is important to become eligible for the race.
The intervals between practice sessions may be variable. Stewards of race cab drop grid positions of drivers as per their commitment in practice. Every qualifying segment is designed for one hour. This segment may see several drivers on track at the same time. Each driver is allowed to run several laps.
What time is the Bathurst 1000 Start?
Each practice session of supercars, shootouts, qualifying and the final race will be live on Bathurst channel Fox Sports. All times AEDT:
- Practice Day: 7:15 am to 5:30 pm
- Qualifying Day: 7:30 am to 5:15 pm
- Shootout Day: 8:00 am to 6:15 pm
- Race Day: 7:15 am to 6:00 pm

Practice day is important for all drivers to understand the complications of the Mount Panorama circuit. The qualifying day requires you to show your skills because stewards will choose you or disqualify you for the race. The final race is the ultimate day to get Peter Brock Trophy and cash price.
The Bathurst 1000 has 161 laps of Mount Panorama Circuit. The drivers have to complete these laps in two teams. Every entrant of Bathurst 1000 nominates a co-driver and a lead driver. The leader driver should complete more than 107 laps and co-drivers have to complete almost 54 leaps.
Each team has to complete almost seven pit stops; however, the safety cars are available to use at the time of a crash on the circuit. It means pit policies are not permanent and they keep evolving throughout each race.
The race will be expected to finish after 161 laps and 1000 km. Almost 10 to 15 cars are expected to finish the lead lap, with the abrasion rate may be influenced by accidents, mechanical reliability, and weather.
